Rob Williams to be listed as day-to-day in availability throughout NBA Finals

Boston Celtics big man Robert Williams III will be placed in day-to-day status throughout the 2022 NBA Finals. 

As such, he’ll be questionable to play in Game 1 together with Marcus Smart (ankle). 

Williams has been battling knee soreness throughout this postseason, missing plenty of games since their Conference Semis against the Milwaukee Bucks. 

In this year’s fruitful playoff run with the Cs, the big man is averaging 7.8 points, 5.5 boards, 1.9 blocks in 11 games.
