Nikola Jokic has spent his entire NBA career with the Nuggets. This past season was his seventh year in Denver. The Serbian superstar won his second consecutive MVP award.
He has one more year on his contract, but is eligible to sign a supermax extension this summer. The Joker alluded that he would sing it if the offer was made for him.
However, since then Nuggets general manager Tim Connelly left for a job with the Timberwolves. He had a close relationship with Jokic and his departure could impact the center’s plan for the future.
But a new report by Mike Singer of The Denver Post suggests that the two-time NBA MVP is still interested in staying in Denver.
