Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors and Brooklyn Nets’ Kevin Durant have led the NBA’s first All-star fan voting returns this season.
Curry (2,584,623) and Durant (2,360,435) harnessed the most out of the votes coming from the supporters of the league across every social media platform. In addition, the two superstars are also frontrunners of their respective conference.
Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks (2,145,835), Los Angeles Lakers’ LeBron James (2,018,725), Denver Nuggets’ Nikola Jokic (1,649,809) and DeMar DeRozan of the Chicago Bulls (1,487,598) are also on the run and have gained many selections.
The second result of fan voting for the 2022 NBA All-star game in Cleveland is expected to be released on Jan. 13.
