Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr wanted to see Patty Mills on his roster after he became a free agent last summer. In the end the 33-year-old point guard chose the Brooklyn Nets.
Kerr remains a fan of the Australian guard. “Seems like our kind of guy. I’m a huge fan. Great player, leader,” Golden State head coach said of Mills, per Anthony Slater.
Mills showed off his skills against the Warriors last night as he scored 24 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 4 assists as Brooklyn lost by 4 points.
