What to Know

The New Orleans Pelicans will be returning home after a three-game road trip. They will take on the Indiana Pacers at 8 p.m. ET on Monday at Smoothie King Center after having had a few days off. Coming off of a win even when the odds were against them, the Pelicans have to be feeling especially confident now that the spread is in their favor.

New Orleans had enough points to win and then some against the New York Knicks last week, taking their game 102-91. Center Jonas Valanciunas (18 points) and shooting guard Josh Hart (17 points) were the top scorers for New Orleans.

Meanwhile, Indiana came up short against the Phoenix Suns this past Saturday, falling 113-103. The top scorers for Indiana were shooting guard Chris Duarte (17 points), shooting guard Lance Stephenson (17 points), and center Goga Bitadze (16 points).

In the teams’ previous meeting last November, New Orleans lost to the Pacers on the road by a decisive 111-94 margin. Maybe the Pelicans will have more luck at home instead of on the road? Watch the matchup and check back on CBS Sports for all the details.
