Who’s Playing

Toronto @ Milwaukee

Current Records: Toronto 20-19; Milwaukee 27-17

What to Know

The Milwaukee Bucks haven’t won a matchup against the Toronto Raptors since Jan. 27 of last year, but they’ll be looking to end the drought Saturday. The Bucks’ homestand continues as they prepare to take on Toronto at 6:30 p.m. ET Jan. 15 at Fiserv Forum. Milwaukee will be strutting in after a win while Toronto will be stumbling in from a loss.

Milwaukee had enough points to win and then some against the Golden State Warriors on Thursday, taking their contest 118-99. The team ran away with 77 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those in the second to pick up the victory. Milwaukee’s power forward Giannis Antetokounmpo did his thing and posted a triple-double on 30 points, 12 boards, and 11 dimes. That makes it three consecutive games in which Antetokounmpo has had at least 12 rebounds.

Meanwhile, the point spread favored the Raptors on Friday, but luck did not. They took a hard 103-87 fall against the Detroit Pistons. One thing holding Toronto back was the mediocre play of power forward Scottie Barnes, who did not have his best game: he played for 33 minutes but put up just eight points on 4-for-13 shooting.

Toronto’s defeat took them down to 20-19 while Milwaukee’s win pulled them up to 27-17. We’ll see if Toronto can steal Milwaukee’s luck or if Milwaukee records another victory instead.
