Recent performances by Russell Westbrook attracted a waive of criticism towards the Los Angeles Lakers point guard. One example of that was a hashtag “Trade Russ” trending on Twitter after Russ had 8 points in the loss against the Sacramento Kings.
Despite the fact that his first season as a Laker is not going the way it was expected, Westbrook says that he has no regrets about joining the purple and gold.

So while the Lakers may have had second thoughts about this pairing, in other words, he has not. “No,” he said when asked if he had any regrets about the move. “Nah. I mean, not at all, because — like I told you — it’s bigger than basketball for me.”
This season Westbrook is averaging 18.7 points, 8.2 rebounds and 8.1 assists per game for Los Angeles.
