Nets vs. Thunder: How to watch online, live stream info, game time, TV channel

Who’s Playing

Oklahoma City @ Brooklyn

Current Records: Oklahoma City 13-27; Brooklyn 26-14

What to Know

The Brooklyn Nets are getting right back to it as they host the Oklahoma City Thunder at 8:30 p.m. ET Jan. 13 at Barclays Center. Brooklyn will be strutting in after a win while Oklahoma City will be stumbling in from a loss.

The Nets’ contest against the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday was close at halftime, but Brooklyn turned on the heat in the second half with 76 points. Brooklyn made easy work of Chicago and carried off a 138-112 victory. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Brooklyn had established a 101-79 advantage. They relied on the efforts of point guard James Harden, who shot 5-for-8 from beyond the arc and finished with a double-double on 25 points and 16 dimes along with seven boards, and power forward Kevin Durant, who had 27 points and nine assists.

The Thunder lost a heartbreaker to the Washington Wizards when they met last November, and they left with a heavy heart again on Tuesday. It was close but no cigar for Oklahoma City as they fell 122-118 to Washington. Shooting guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander put forth a good effort for the losing side as he had 32 points and eight assists. Gilgeous-Alexander had some trouble finding his footing against the Denver Nuggets on Sunday, so this was a step in the right direction.

Brooklyn is the favorite in this one, with an expected 5.5-point margin of victory. Their home court has been no bettor’s paradise, though, as they’ve failed to beat the spread in 16 of their 21 home games.

Brooklyn’s victory brought them up to 26-14 while the Thunder’s defeat pulled them down to 13-27. A pair of numbers to keep in mind before tip-off: The Nets have been holding their opponents to a field goal percentage of 43.40%, which places them second in the league. Less enviably, Oklahoma City has only been able to knock down 41.50% percent of their shots, which is the second lowest field goal percentage in the league. So the cards are definitely stacked against Oklahoma City.
