:This is how Marzahn-Hellersdorf celebrates its 40th birthday
The district of Marzahn-Hellersdorf is celebrating its 40th birthday – with a giant party on Saturday in the Gardens of the World on the Kienberg site. According to the district, it is the biggest birthday party in this jubilee year.
From 14 clock it starts: With a show program and 650 participants on large and small stages. There are musicians such as the Anne Stephan Band with pure Eastern rock or dance ensembles, but also the circus Cabuwazi with artistry and magic, the choir of the police or the pianist Thomas Krger, a Youtube star from the record.
There is also a congratulatory mile with more than 65 stalls, where clubs, institutions and city partners present themselves.
From 6.30 pm the big evening program starts in the arena, moderated by singer Tino Eisbrenner. Performing: Gundermanns Seilschaft, the youth symphony orchestra of the Hans-Werner-Henze music school of the district or dancers of the ballet school Szilvia Wolf. The musical highlight of the evening: as the last guest, starting at 9 pm, the electro-pop duo “Glasperlenspiel” rocks the stage of the Arena in the Gardens of the World. (Sd).
