Washington –

An armed 18-year-old, after the police have searched before the 20th anniversary of the massacre at the American Columbine High School, is dead. This was reported by the FBI Federal Police in Denver, Colorado on Wednesday on Twitter.

For details, the police gave no information. Before that, the FBI had said there was no danger to the public. Afraid of a possible attack by the 18-year-olds, the Columbine High School and numerous other schools in the greater Denver area were closed on Wednesday.

Police are looking for the 18-year-olds

The police had been feverishly looking for the 18-year-old, who had been classified as “armed and dangerous” by the FBI. The FBI head in Denver, Dean Phillips, had said that the woman had an “obsession” with the Columbine massacre 20 years ago. She had traveled to Colorado before the anniversary of Miami and bought a firearm and ammunition upon arrival.

In the Columbine High School massacre on April 20, 1999, two teenagers shot and killed twelve classmates and one teacher, and then killed themselves. 24 people were injured. Numerous commemorative events are planned for the anniversary of this Saturday, including a church service and a vigil. (AP)
